(Unit 5) Health and Safety

Questions 1. Why should you not move the computers or printers?

It can cause a electric shock due to they weight and frailty when they are moving and also they also may stop working if they are move aggressively.



2. Chairs for computers need a required number of footed bases. How many footed bases are the chair meant to have?

The chairs are meant to have 4/6 to foot bases depending on the style. 


3. Why is it important to adjust chair height and back support for the computer chair?

It is very important to adjust you chair height and back support when when using a computer so you won't have back problems when using a computer and if your are a small person you can see propeller when you use the computer.


4. RSI can be a problem. What does it mean and give and example of how to avoid it.RSI in short is 

Repetitive strain injury and it means that you been the same thing like typing for more 1 hour for example to moving the mouse too far. To avoid it take regular breaks ever now so ofter and take pain killers.

 
5. How often should you take a break away from the screen. Why should you do this?


Always take a break least 30 minutes to 1 hour so you can rest your eyes and hands.  

6. Can you say why you are not meant to bring food or drink into the computer rooms?You not allowed to bring food and drinks in a any computer rooms because food like pasta can cause sickness and electrocution if spelled while drinks can cause to a electric shocks to may blow up a computer. 


7. What can you do to avoid issues such as electric shocks in the computer room?To make sure always keep liquid away from wires to computers.  



Extension activity 1 

1. What other health and safety issues can you think of? Write them down and say what might happen if health and safety is not followed correctly.

When you enter the computer room make sure you take your jackets off and bags down so people won't trip though them and also make sure you don't put your stuff near the wires because it may cause a electric shock.

For my morning session I was assigned to make a logo for my drag and drop math games
For width is 788 pixels and for height is 576
Next I used the type tool and I type in Maths matching game.
Then from there I started experimenting different logos and checking on which design is the best and the most approve one

Animation Creature Unit 5

In my afternoon secction I started to make my simple mascot for the drag and drop game

What I did today Unit 5

In my first section I tried to make my drag and drop math game work by making the numbers draggable but it didn't work at all which is unfortunate .
In my second lesson I started to colour in my mascot from my previous  work but i didn't get enough time finishing it because I want to do mine with prefect detail and also I was asking for help with my drag and drop game.
So in my next lesson I will try to make my drag and drop game.

I think Hamazh opinion was correct because I made games a simple and they will teach kids about organizing numbers

PEGI rating system Unit 5

PEGI is a official rating system for games in the uk. Its manly used to guide the audience of what game is suitable for that personal age for example if the game like Tales of Xillla 2 it has a PEGI 16 logo on it meaning its only suitable for teenagers due to its light sexual content and fans tasty violence.
PEGI 3 is for rating for mainly suitable for kids and all of the games are very kids friendly. Some examples include Angry birds, Pokemon and Fifa.

PEGI 7 is for games that a slightly darker and some games have more of a adventure feel.  Some examples include Little Big Planet, Ratchet And Clank.

PEGI 12 theres are the games that are more violent Pegi 7 and also some games may also include some chatterers with a bit of fantasy art aka anime. Some games include Tales of Graces F, The Crew, Super Smash Bros.

MyAnimeList is a suitable website for both teenagers and adults because teen-angers and adults can check the latest anime discuss on forms
about the episode or the series.
The main use of this website is to make reviews so that people that are viewing that show can decide if the anime series is good or not.

1. How to play the ancient Egyptian game of Senet 

  • Throw the sticks to see how many squares to move your piece forward.
