Media Glossary

  • Frame: A single image within an animation sequence.
  • Tweening: The Process of automatically creating intermediate (in between) framers between two key frames.
  • Frame Rate: The speed at which each frame is presented to the viewer.
  • Keyframe: The starting point and end point of a transition.
  • Storyboard: A method of planning and organising an animation.
Frame Rate: 
1 At 12th fps (frames per second ) how many would there be in a 3 second animation sequence.?
 = 36 frames 
2 There are 48 frames in an animation sequence. The frame rate is 24 fps. How many seconds will the sequence last? 2 seconds 
3 A 30 second animation running at 12 fps will have a total of how many frames?
